To Kim, dentistry isn’t just a job or a career choice, it’s a passion. Kim was first introduced to the idea of working in the dental field as a junior in high school back in 1981. Kim was sixteen when she enrolled in a community college dental assisting course and earned her certification in Dental Radiography from the State of California Board of Dental Examiners. She went on to earn her certific

ation as a Registered Dental Assistant in California and also her Certified Dental Assistant with Expanded Functions in Placement of Restorative Materials and Anatomic Landmarks for Fixed and Removable Prosthetics in Missouri. Kim also earned certification from the American Orthodontic Society for her successful completion of the Straight Wire Assistants course. There are so many things Kim loves about the dental field. Kim believes there are no limits to continuing education because with science and technology in dentistry continuously expanding and improving dental materials and procedures there is no time to sit back and get bored. Kim has been a member of Dr. Killian’s team since 2006 and for her (being from California) Dr. Killian’s office has become her home away from home. Kim is a single mother of two wonderful, beautiful daughters. She dabbles in photography and scrapbooking in her free time. She also dances both West Coast Swing and Imperial (St. Louis style) Swing. Because St. Louis area has so much offer both professionally and recreationally from the Mid-Continent Dental Congress hosted each year by the Greater St. Louis Dental Society to an outstanding game of baseball at Busch Stadium (Go Cards!), she feels St. Louis is a wonderful place to live.
